Hank Williams Jr.says he will run for the U.S. Senate as a Republican candidate during the next primary election. It is said that Hank has already talked with Sen. Lamar Alexander and former Sen. Bill Frist regarding his candidacy. Hank spent a lot of time on the campaign trail with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

DroopyDrawers (Droopy for short) is a mutant beagle and is about 11 years old. He is HUGE! He is kind of a not so bright dog. He wants to go out, then 1 minute later back in, then back out gain. Droopy is indestructable though. We were told five years ago that he had heart worms and would need immediate, radical treatment which he may not survive. Even if he did make it through the treatment, the toll would be so severe on his body that he may only live a few years more. We opted not to treat him. Four years ago, Droopy was in pain, couldn’t walk. Turns out he had something wrong with his spine. The vet gave us some pills and told us to make him as comfortable as possible and he would need to take the medication for what was left of his life.  Then, last year Droopy found an entire box of Decon Rat Poison and ate every bit of it. We called the emergency vet (it was late at night) and was told that there was nothing that could be done with that amount of poison in his system. I poured hydogen peroxide into him and hoped for the best. After all of that, Droopy is as healthy as can be, runnning jumping and howling at the moon. In addition to the above, Droopy has a fondness for electrical wires. He has eated an entire webcam, chewed most wires on charges he has found, oh and also loves to devour photographs. I’d post his pic, but he ate it.

When I was really young (2 or 3yrs old) I would listen to records a lot. One of my favorite songs was the popcorn song. As things do, the record eventually became too scratched to hear anything and was thrown out. I have never heard that song since until I was able to locate it on the internet. I am riding in the car looking for a clear station on the radio and what do I hear but ‘Frosty the Snowman”. As I reach the town square, I see the outdoor holiday decorations on the lightposts. I get back to my neighborhood and I see two families putting lights on their homes. I turn on the television and scroll thru the channels and I see “It’s a Wonderful Life” playing. Then during the commercials, several stores are advertising Christmas specials this weekend. Granted it did get a little cooler that night, but it is still a week before Thanksgiving! When did Christmas become a 2 month holiday? I understand the importance of Dec 25th, but I’m afraid the meaning has become lost. When do you think the Christmas Holiday should begin?
